Why will the game not rotate to landscape or use light mode?

The game is portrait-only and always dark. That is deliberate for the pixel art, not a bug.

How many save slots are there?

One. Progress does not sync between devices and deleting the app deletes the save.

Is there Game Center, or are there leaderboards?

No. There is no Game Center, no leaderboards, no achievements, and no multiplayer.

Are there in-app purchases?

No. There are no in-app purchases and no ads.
