Origin Story

Rocket City Defense Solutions LLC was formed around a pattern I encountered repeatedly across defense programs and industrial environments: high-performing teams were being slowed down by fragile pipelines, inconsistent environments, and late-stage security surprises. In many organizations, the work is mission-critical and heavily constrained, yet the tooling assumes ideal connectivity, uniform infrastructure, and simple compliance boundaries.

Over 13+ years in software, systems, testing, and DevOps-focused roles, I’ve supported complex engineering programs and led automation efforts that delivered major efficiency gains, while operating in environments where reliability and accountability matter. That experience shaped a simple philosophy: engineering tools should be practical in restricted environments, security- and policy-aware by default, and explainable enough that engineers, security teams, and leadership can align quickly.

We chose products, not just services, because the same classes of problems show up repeatedly. Productizing proven patterns is how you reduce dependency on tribal knowledge and make improvements repeatable across teams. Rocket City Defense Solutions LLC’s portfolio reflects that goal: PipelineForge (pipeline creation and governance), PGuard (policy-first DevSecOps that can operate “at the edge”), and KubeFix (cluster-focused operational clarity and remediation).
